❤️The Heart Behind Imperfect Photos

As a traveling Utah photographer, I’ve photographed hundreds of people — families, couples, individuals, creatives, and friends. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that the best photos aren’t always the posed ones. Sometimes the images that make you laugh, cry, or remember the moment the most are the totally unplanned ones.
That’s why I include bloopers in every gallery. The wild laughs. The wind-blown hair. The toddler running away. The crooked hats. The photos where someone is doubled over laughing or trying to catch their balance. The moments that aren’t perfect, but somehow… are perfect.
Because photos aren’t just about looking good — they’re about remembering how it felt.
📚The Story Behind the Session

When you look back years from now, I don’t just want you to remember:
“This is what we looked like.”
I want you to remember:
“This is who we were.”
Bloopers help bring back the stories you might forget. The jokes, the chaos, the unexpected wind, the small details you didn’t even notice happening at the time. They add the personality behind the photoshoot — the part of you that isn’t posed or planned.
✨ And honestly? Those images often become the most shared ones in the gallery.

💆♀️It Helps You Relax (and Have Fun)
Most people walk into a session a little nervous — even if they’ve booked multiple shoots with me. The blooper moments are usually when shoulders drop, laughter starts, and the real energy comes through.
Those candid in-between moments set the tone for the entire session. It reminds everyone that the goal isn’t perfection — it’s connection.
📸 I want you to have the kind of shoot where you leave smiling because it felt good.
😉The Photos You’ll Be Grateful For
I’ve had so many clients tell me later:
“I didn’t even remember laughing that hard — I’m so glad you caught it.”
Or:
“This is my favorite photo and we weren’t even posing!”

That’s the good stuff. The stuff you return to years later when your kids are grown, when
your relationship has changed, when life has moved fast. Those are the images that bring the memories back to life.
I include blooper photos because your story deserves to be remembered with all the joy, mishaps, and in-between moments that actually made it real.
