There’s something incredibly special about bridal sessions that unfold slowly — with intention, movement, and space to actually breathe. Mikele and Tom’s bridal session was exactly that.
Starting with a quiet, emotional first look at the Logan Utah Temple, and ending with glowing sunset portraits in Logan Canyon, this session felt timeless, intimate, and full of love. 💍🌄

🤍 A First Look at the Logan Utah Temple
We began the session at the Logan Utah Temple, where Mikele and Tom shared their first look together. These moments are always powerful — the anticipation, the nerves, the relief, the joy — and this one was no exception. 🕊️
The temple grounds offered clean lines, soft light, and a calm atmosphere that allowed Mikele and Tom to fully be present with each other before the rest of the day unfolded.
As a Logan Utah wedding photographer, I love starting sessions here because it sets such a meaningful tone for the rest of the shoot.
📸 Second Shooting with Nicole from Iotamaker
I had the honor of second shooting this bridal session alongside Nicole from Iotamaker, who also happens to be Mikele’s mom. 🤍
Photographing a session where a mother is both present and part of the creative team adds such a beautiful layer of connection. You could feel how deeply loved and supported Mikele is — not just as a bride, but as a daughter.
Working with Nicole is always seamless, collaborative, and inspiring, and this session was no different.

✨ A Family Effort (and the Best Assistant Ever)
Mikele’s younger sister Cassie joined us for the session and was an absolute MVP. 💪✨From holding lights, to fluffing the dress, to making sure every detail was just right — she helped keep everything running smoothly.
I love when family is involved in sessions like this. It turns the experience into more than just photos — it becomes a shared memory.
🌄 Sunset Bridal Photos in Logan Canyon
After the temple, we headed up Logan Canyon for sunset — and wow, did it deliver. 🌅
The light filtered through the canyon perfectly, wrapping Mikele and Tom in warm, golden tones that felt cinematic and romantic. This is one of my favorite locations for bridal portraits because it offers variety, movement, and that unmistakable Utah mountain magic.
Sunset sessions like this allow couples to slow down, laugh together, and create images that feel natural and true to who they are.

💍 Why Bridal Sessions Matter
Bridal sessions aren’t just about getting pretty photos (though that’s a bonus 😉). They’re about:
Practicing being in front of the camera together
Reducing stress on the wedding day
Creating intentional time for connection
Capturing locations you love without a tight timeline
Mikele and Tom’s session is a perfect example of how bridal sessions can feel relaxed, meaningful, and deeply personal.
📍 Planning a Logan Utah Bridal Session?
If you’re planning a wedding in Logan, Cache Valley, or Northern Utah, consider a bridal session that includes:
A meaningful starting location (like the temple)
A scenic outdoor transition
Golden hour or sunset timing
Room for family involvement if that matters to you
These sessions create some of the most heartfelt images in a wedding gallery — and they deserve their own space to shine.

✨ Final Thoughts
This bridal session was calm, joyful, and full of love — from the quiet first look to the glowing canyon sunset. Mikele and Tom, thank you for trusting us to document this chapter of your story. 🤍
And to everyone planning their own wedding — if you want photos that feel intentional, emotional, and timeless, this is your sign to plan the session you actually want.
