✨ A Day of Pure Creative Chaos — In the Best Way

There are photoshoots where everything clicks — the light, the location, the people, the energy. Then there are photoshoots like the Salt Lake City Inspired meetup at the Bonneville Salt Flats, where every single thing is magic.
It was one of those perfect Utah days: bright, warm, and wide-open skies stretching forever over a glassy white landscape. And with dozens of creatives gathering together, it quickly became one of my favorite meetups ever.

🎨 A Mashup of Concepts That Somehow Worked Together
One of the best parts of SLCI meetups is that everyone brings something different — concepts, props, outfits, energy. And this time? It was a full-on buffet of creativity.
We shot everything from:
🟧 Taylor Swift–inspired orange tones
💗 Bright pink fashion looks
👼 Soft angel aesthetics with wings
🌊 Sea-themed editorial sets with shells
🏜️ Dune-inspired desert styling
Every direction you looked, there was something else happening — someone twirling in neon chiffon, someone tossing a smoke bomb, someone lying in the shallow water to catch reflections. And somehow, all of it fit perfectly against the endless white landscape of the Salt Flats.

🧰 Props, Props, Props — A Photographer’s Playground
Creatives did not hold back for this one. The prop list was wild in the best way:
Smoke bombs drifting across the flats
Drones buzzing overhead for cinematic aerial shots
Seashells and water props for ocean-inspired scenes
Angel wings catching the wind
Steel wool for light painting once the sun dipped
Bright fabrics, glitter, and colorful styling everywhere
Every prop brought a new mood, a new challenge, and a new chance to get experimental. The Salt Flats became a sandbox for adults with cameras — and honestly, that’s exactly how it should be.
📸 Why This Meetup Will Stick With Me
Beyond the styling, beyond the props, beyond the incredible location — what made this meetup unforgettable was the community. Photographers helping each other
troubleshoot, models hyping each other up, people sharing gear, sharing jokes, sharing ideas.

It felt like a reminder of why I love what I do.
The Salt Flats always deliver. But the people?
They’re what turn a shoot into a memory.
