💃 A Prom Session Close to My Heart

There are some sessions that hit a little differently — and this was definitely one of them. I had the joy of photographing my sister-in-law Annjolina and her boyfriend, Dax, for their prom this past spring, and it turned out to be one of my favorite prom photos in Utah to date.

Annjolina just graduated, and Dax is heading into his senior year, so this shoot was a blend of celebration, change, and sweet young love. It was a moment in time I know they’ll look back on forever — and being the one behind the camera made it even more special.

📍 A Picture-Perfect Utah Prom Location

We chose a scenic local spot for the session that gave us a soft, golden-hour glow — the kind of light that feels magical and fleeting, just like these high school years.

Annjolina’s dress shimmered in the sunlight, and they both looked incredible, but what stood out most was how much fun they were having together. From silly poses to quiet moments, I made sure to capture the full story of their evening, from excitement to elegance.
