A Utah Based Pizza Chain serving New York Style Pizza

Working with vendors like Lucky Slice for events is always a blast (and always comes with delicious perks). Building relationships with a variety of vendors is always great as a photographer. When you do build these relationships, you always have good suggestions on hand for your clients when they need help. Plus, you get to experience the great service as well.

Who is Lucky Slice?
Lucky Slice is a small pizza chain local to Northern Utah. They specialize in New York Style pizza and have a variety of menu items that cater to vegan and gluten free diets. They have all the usual pizza flavors like cheese, pepperoni, and marghie, but they also excel at weird flavors that they feature like the Chicago Dog.
They have a couple of locations in Northern Utah, and I'm lucky enough to live close enough to one that I can enjoy their food whenever I would like. That being said, they do have delivery and catering available for people who don't live as close. They also like to support local artists and events, so you'll likely see them at northern Utah celebrations like Summerfest, Cruise-in, Farmer's market, etc.
They have received multiple awards in Northern Utah including Best Pizza in Ogden from Indie Ogden, Best Pizza in Logan from Best of Logan, and awards from City Weekly in Salt Lake City, too.

The Benefits of Collaboration
Collaborating with vendors in any way can open so many doors for opportunities. This can be in a way that allows you to create unique photos that are special to one person, or it can open opportunities to work with other vendors that you may dream about working with.
Working with vendors specifically local to you can create a strong network. This can also happen with vendors who are not local, but having a network close to you will help connect to other professionals in your area. Having a network that supports you and encourages you will help you grow in a multitude of ways.
Vendors are often professionals in their field. A makeup artist will be able to see someone and a concept and make a beautiful makeup look that suits the person best, while also making sure the concept is captured. A fashion designer will be able to look at a piece of clothing and someone's body and will be able to tell you how best something would lay on a person. A photographer can look at a location and will be able to tell you where the best spot is to get great lighting and to capture the image in your mind. All of these examples and more can create a more tailored service for an individual by each person paying attention to the detail that they really strive in.

Supporting Local Businesses
It is so important to support local businesses. This will help to stimulate your local economy as well as support local artists. While it is very possible that these goods will cost more than something you would get on Amazon, it is also true that they are likely made with a much higher quality.
Often for local artists and vendors, what they are supplying is locally sourced as well. This not only stimulates their business, but all the ones that they purchase goods from as well. A few vendors will even upcycle items, which means that there is less waste being thrown in landfills!

Conclusion
Please support local businesses and creators like Lucky Slice Pizza. They bring wonderful food to your local neighborhoods and provide fun spaces for people to hang out. They help stimulate local economies and provide jobs for people within that community. If you would like to hear more about Lucky Slice check out their website here.
