🌤️ Take Two — A Playground Session with the Cafferty Family in Logan, UT

Round Two (With Better Weather and More Tissues)

A family of four in a sunny park, with a dad holding a baby, a playful child hugging his leg, and a mom smiling beside another child.

A little while later, we tried again—this time at a park in Logan, UT, with calmer skies and a much better forecast. ☀️

The only hiccup this time? Dylan had a brutal head cold and powered through the session with the help of sheer will and a generous amount of cold medicine. Truly heroic behavior. 🫡

Three children sit on a park pathway. Two boys smile at the camera, the older one holding a baby with a white bow. Green trees in background.

Kids Being Kids (The Best Kind of Session)

This session was everything a family shoot should be:

• Kids running wild on the playground

• Laughter instead of posing

• Breaks when needed

• Space to just be

Ollie and Chip had a blast climbing, playing, and being their full chaotic-sweet selves. And while the kids played, Liz and I caught up on books, life, and all the little things that come with watching families grow.

Full Circle Moments 🤍

Liz and I went to high school together, and I’ve been photographing her family for a few years now. Being trusted to document these seasons—new babies, growing kids, changing dynamics—is something I’ll never take lightly.

Watching their family grow, session by session, is one of the biggest joys of what I do.

Because at the end of the day, these photos aren’t about perfect outfits or flawless weather. They’re about memory-keeping. About freezing moments that will never look the same again.
